#1 Recommended Blogging Course - Pineapple Aspirations

About 2 years ago I decided to start my Blog. I felt that I had fun recipes and tips and tricks to share with others. But honestly I also wanted to find a way to make some extra income on the side to help pay the bills. Since money was tight I didn’t want to spend any funds on blogging courses or books. I wanted to figure it out all on my own. However, I quickly realized that creating a Blog and Website by myself could take me forever. Why reinvent the wheel?! Who Can I Trust?

There are a gazillion Pins on Pinterest promoting various blogging courses and books. I am sure that many are great. When I found Suzi’s website I thought it sounded great but I still did not want to spend any money. I did however get her Free Blog Plan and signed up for her email newsletter.

Her Free Blog Plan was very helpful and I also watched some of her YouTube Videos which were great. She was fun to watch and very down to earth and what she taught was simple and easy to grasp.

Then she had a sale on the “#1 recommended blog course”, aka the Blog by Number Course, and I decided to take a chance.

Boy was I glad I did. She walked me through, step by step, to set up my Website for my Blog. Every little detail!

There were so many key plugins and odd bits that I would never have thought of. With her help I created a beautiful and professional Blog Website that tracks everything I need to track and that I can maintain and update with ease.

She also taught me how to create beautiful eye catching images that I can use to promote my latest posts on Pinterest.

If you already started a blog but are struggling with it Suzi’s course can help straighten it out. She also has additional courses like List by Number, Ebook by Number, Course by Number and more. Whatever you are struggling with she probably has a course for it.

Show Me the Money!!

Lets not forget all of the ways to monetize your blog if you are looking to make some side income as well. She goes over each type and helps you decide which ones are best for you and your Blog.

However I would recommend that when you start your blog, don’t go into it with the mindset of making money. Have the mindset of helping others with your own bit of brilliance and be consistent with writing posts. Follow Suzi’s tips and eventually you should start to make some money.

My Error…

When I first launched my Blog and created my “Pillar” posts, as directed in the #1 recommended blogging course, I then stared at the computer waiting for the money to roll in. Obviously it didn’t. I was impatient and I dropped my blog and did not work on it for over a year.

Just recently I have picked it back up. But I am working on focusing on using my blog to add value to others more than to just make money. I challenged myself to write one post every week up to my birthday in December. 21 posts in all. And of course I plan to continue from there as well and stay consistent, but I wanted to give myself a game to focus on and help motivate me and take my eyes off the monetary results.
